The Come2Data pilot social project is aimed at explaining and understanding the links between media coverage on migration and individual attitudes on a general level. For this purpose, we conduct analysis concerning either print or social media, but survey data as well.

These different data types require a distinct set of skills and practices in the realm of data science (e.g. Web Scraping), but especially from the text analysis world (Sentiment Analysis, Machine Learning, LLMs). C2D supports social science research by providing practical and legal guidance to related data challenges, including: data collection, data analysis, and data storage.
